Qualifying Stage

Male PET Events

  • 5 km Run: complete in 24 minutes
  • Long Jump: 11 feet (3 attempts)
  • High Jump: 3.5 feet (3 attempts)
  • Must clear all three to qualify
  • No separate marks — qualifying nature

Female PET Events

  • 1.6 km Run: complete in 8 min 30 sec
  • Long Jump: 9 feet (3 attempts)
  • High Jump: 3 feet (3 attempts)
  • Must clear all three to qualify

PST — Physical Standard

  • Height measured (no shoes)
  • Chest measured (males only)
  • Weight proportionate to height
